2012 to get miniseries sequel, 2013
That's right, John. In what could perhaps be considered a major spoiler for a film about the end of the world, 2012 will live on in 2013, a televised miniseries about life after disaster. It's a disafter movie. But on TV.

Jericho didn't last very long. I blame Skeet Ulrich.

As for 2012 And Beyond, I'm a little pissed off to know that there's a beyond. Would a film just take a stand and admit that if there were mass natural disasters or meteors hitting Earth we'd be fucked. Plain and simple.

Right, Jericho... they showed that here, never bothered with it. It looked... boring. Not sure it's post-apoc proper, by the way, I think it might have been about a place that got A-bombed or whatever.

Never heard of The Stand... hmmm, I'm sure there are at least several Stephen-King based mini series I need to watch.

I think Jericho had similar concept, though I've not seen it. And Stephen King's The Stand was pretty similar, though that was after a virus I seem to remember.

Oh, goodie. What's next? A Kill Bill mini-series? Does Uma Thurman just pick em out of a phone book every week?

In all fairness though, this does sound very intriguing. Frankly I don't think a post-apoc series was ever made, mini or not. Can you use your magic powers to verify this, Ali? However, yeah, not sure about the set of hands on this steering wheel either.
