Paul Reubens has the notable advantages of being a) an actor, b) alive.

49. Lewis Kazzager - You're kidding, right? Lewis is definitely inspired by Howard Cosell of Monday Night Football fame. Just listen to the cadence of Lewis' speech and compare to Howard.

Some of those are great, but most of them not so much.

I liked the use of more obscure characters especially slipping Farley in there.

But I have to take your Dr. Teeth and Jeff Daniels comparison to task, I mean they don't look ANYTHING alike, and Dr Teeth already has a real life alter ego! Dr John!

Clever list, well thought out.

Just a bit of trivia, tho; "Pops the Doorman" was actually inspired by Italian actor Enzo Petito as the Shopkeeper character in 'The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly'.

Everyone knows Sam the Eagle is Mick Mccarthy. And Andy Garcia is Dimitar Berbatov.

Sam the Eagle always reminds me of Richard Jenkins for some reason.
I used to know who most of these were originally based on but I've long since forgotten. Think Kermit was Woody Allen, Animal was Keith Moon, Sam was a former US president.

+5 internets.

Excellet pairings, lets make this movie... I've got 35p to put towards funding and am willing to add more if required.

THIS IS... insane!

It looks like some (all?) of the Muppets were based on real people... But how? Many were born after Muppets were designed. SICK!
