Review: A Perfect Getaway

A Perfect Getaway
I'm not sure what to make of David Twohy. The man is responsible for Critters 2: The Main Course, Waterworld, G.I. Jane and The Chronicles of Riddick (and unleashing Vin Diesel onto an unsuspecting world, damn it). One might despise him for these vile offences, nay, not just despise, but secretly wish to haul him into the Hague for crimes against humanity.

I'd have Costner's assbaby if he wanted.
Waterworld was on the other night, I'd forgotten how awesome it was.

And Field of Dreams is the *only* movie a guy is allowed to cry watching. I fucking love Field of Dreams, one of my all time favourites.

"Back! Back to the 60's!"
"Oh they will come Ray, they will come and not know why"
"....dad?"

I couldn't have said it any better, Ali. Grix, I think you'll find that I am quite complex. Shitty movies bring me joy. Kevin Costner makes my heart sing. Vin Diesel just makes me cry and curse humanity for birthing that homunculus.

Waterworld is both: golden shit. Like the really runny ones after you've had a Korma.

I'm confused, which is the real Phyllis, the one that says Waterworld is gold, or the one that says it's a vile offence?

And if I ever found Costner sitting on his own, watching an empty pitch and saying 'it's a great game today', I'd sit with him no problem

SACRILEGE!

Also, in a comments thread about Vin Diesel, we're calling Kevin Costner gay?

I rather enjoyed Chronicles of Riddick.

And Costner's a big gay.

I love The Costner. I also love some really crappy movies. Combine the two, and it's cinematic GOLD. Which is exactly what Waterworld is. GOLD, my friend.

I love Waterworld too. It pained me to leave it in. Honestly.

You leave Waterworld alone! I'll not hear a bad word against The Costner.
