Brian Cox to play Hobbit dwarf?

My favourite rumour is David Tennant as Bilbo. Brian Cox would be an excellent Thorin if you ask me, and I'd stick Brendan Gleeson in there too.

Not that I know what on Middle Earth this is all about...

Big spats with New Line I believe. He made the most successful movies of the decade, they screwed him over. Not hard to see why he didn't want to direct. Think they made up and he'll produce. Probably didn't want to spend another 2-3 years living in a made-up land again, tbh.

Again, why is Peter Jackson not directing this? I've got respect for Del Toro but if it ain't broke...
