Disney pop mo-cap in Zemeckis' ass

Disney pop mo-cap in Zemeckis' ass
Last stop for The Polar Express. Disney have shut down Robert Zemeckis' motion-capture studio ImageMovers Digital studio, meaning you won't be seeing his corpse-eyed puppet people any more.

I suppose it's for the best, it was probably only a matter of time until he used this technology to make an awful sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit, or worse, to remake/tinker with it Lucas-style.

No more Uncanny Valley nightmares from Zemeckis.
What a terrible shame etc.

I once wrote an analysis and comparison of Yellow Submarine and Stravinsky's 'The Rite of Spring', right before I had my monocle fitted and ate that swan.

Depends on how long you live, really.

Yellow Submarine is pretty terrible, really. The Beatles couldn't even be arsed to do their own voices. I don't do drugs, so it's just terribly dreary and embarrassing to me.

Dear stoners: The Magic Roundabout is not 'well random'. It's just shit.

Is there a chance that Yellow Submarine is never, never, never remade? I'd like that.
