Fantastic Four remake promises a bigger Thing
Looking forward to the reboot of Fantastic Four? Wait, you are? You're obviously reading the wrong movie blog. Anyway, consider Michael Chiklis out of a job: Thing is going all CG, baby.

Hmm...guess I'm on the wrong site, as I was not a fan of the first one, and still have not seen the second one (I'm no hurry, as I've heard it was awful). Personally, I'm ready for another go with these characters, so long as it's better than what we got the first time out. I'm not interested in a dark or gritty take on the material, but would definitely prefer something that didn't totally insult my intelligence. Additionally, I'd love something with a much bigger cosmic scope; the first film just felt small and confined, and did not do justice to the universe-spanning nature of the comics. Anyway, I look forward to a fresh take on the material, and will keep my fingers crossed that we get something better than just a serviceable, dumb movie.

I stand by my claim that the first movie was good fun, and a decent change of tone from all of the 'darker' super-hero movies that were coming out at the time.

No need to reboot this, just leave it. We can live without anymore Fantastic Four movies, I'm sure. What's the life cycle of these movies now, before we get reboots? Ridiculous.
