In lieu of any real news, Reuters compare Bin Laden to Harry Potter
It's been a slow news week thus far, so respected international news agency Reuters just made up some shit about the "eerie links" between the life of Osama Bin Laden and Harry Potter.

Well Bin Laden isn't dead, so there's still a chance.

Is it they're both retarded and I'll never see either of them before I die?

Shitting shit guys, I've just found an amazing link between Osama and Harry Potter.

This will blow you mothers away, and its all about NUMBERS!

If you convert the letters of the alphabet to numbers, then add up all the letternumbers what spell Harry Potter it comes to 164.

Now if you do the exact same thing with OSAMA B HE WANT A WAR it also comes to 164.

Now if that isn't an indication of something special, I don't know what it.

My exasperation isn't with this site, tenous movie trivia/links is TheShiznit's forte.
But Reuters?
You should start offering financial news.

That's what's so outstanding about it. I can literally think of two dozen more interestings things to write about at the moment, and not one of them relates a fictional wizard to an actual terrorist.

It's a fucking children's book written by a barely literate woman who has probably never even heard of Afghanistan.

Slow news day then.

"When Harry and Voldemort actually finally come face-to-face in the Battle of Hogwarts, in the books' chronology the date is really May 2, 1998"

So forgetting, the actual date similarity/discrepancy, there's still the 13-year difference to account for too?

Best bit though:

"Just as Voldemort was shaped by his mother's death and his father's abandonment, Osama was shaped by his personal struggle between Western pleasures and Islamic discipline"

So...no similarity there at all then? That's like saying "Just as I had spaghetti bolognese for my tea last night, Osama dined out on the flesh of young virgin brides." But don't you see - we both ate something.
