Is this a Cloverfield 2 viral?

The first could have survived the non-characters if it hadn't been filmed in shakycam. I'm glad to see the end of that fad after it ruined Diary of the Dead.
As for this clip, well it says Cloverfield in it, so seeing as that was the codename given by the military I find it unlikely that this is genuine. Also, it's daylight, so unless people decided that they fancied going to the fairground the morning after a monster laid waste to New York, I'm guessing fake.

I thought Cloverfield was wank if that helps any?

Sequel won't be shot on handheld apparently, wisely. Quite intrigued with what they'll do with it.

I was severely underwhelmed by the first, (mainly due to dull and uninspiring characters) and am thoroughly bored with the video camera angle stuff now.
