Do you thnk there will be an above average Marvel branded movie ever again? I don't - it's all production line stuff now, although I have a soft spot for X-men 3, took some balls to kill off all those characters.

Making muppet baby versions is both desperate and milking the cash cow. They should make it the ultimate in suck and get Shyamalan to direct a cgi Hopper as Chuck Xavier's Dad.

It's odd. I don't think this film has any official type of canon at all, given that all the roles are obviously being recast, and it's superceding the proposed Magento 'X-Men Origins' story.

The X-Men are kind of all assholes anyway. Who wants to see them when they were young? It's a common mistake in Hollywood to think that audiences are interested in seeing characters in their early years.

Young Professor X? Young Hannibal Lecter? Young Darth Vader? Who. Gives. A. Shit.

So this is set BEFORE the Wolverine film, right? Because even with the "de-aging" Professor X still looked about 90.
