It gets a hopeful maybe from me.

Anyone see that movie about the guy that thought he had special powers. Think it was called 'Special'. It was pretty... special.

That did the normal guy does superhero thing quite well, only he thought he did have powers.

Stand By Your Moon.

Surrogates was so shit, and you could tell because it was 85 minutes long, which is unacceptable!

I stand by Moon. Not the best film ever made but certainly not unoriginal and a welcome antidote to some other films this year has seen (for example, I watched it straight after watching Surrogates. Jeeeez)

Maybe we can settle this with cock/muff/bumhole?

"That implies to me that you only like the films of David Lynch?"

No, not at all, just films like Moon and the resulting wankage remind me of 15-Peter-20.

I just wrote a bunch about how remakes and adaptations are all we get these days and we should be happy with any original screenplays we get.

Then I remembered what article we were commenting on, how excited I was by the trailer, and that The Room exists.
So I'm shutting up now.

Why won't anybody buy MY idea of a young girl that gets murdered in a dream and she turns into a young mechanic...and there's a mysterious package...and...and...a backwards-talking dwarf....what do you mean 'what is it about'?

I get annoyed by films where anyone with a working brain could have come up with the plot - Moon, for example - yet gets lauded as some kind of supergenius.

Basically I'm jealous; why won't anybody buy my idea about an island where there are cloned dinosaurs, and it's a theme park, and everything goes wrong and Jeff Goldblum is also there? Why??

Kept hearing a lot of hype about this film but this is the first footage I've seen and I think I finally understand what the big deal is. Looks great and I'm looking forward to it.

Have to laugh though: wait, the story is about an average geek trying to be a costumed superhero in the real world? *Cue the sound of thousands of fanboys around the world tearing up their 'original' film concept*

Rated 18, I believe. Hard 18.

Promising, as long as it doesn't get castrated to fit PG-12.

EDIT: I just checked. I just double-checked. Nic Cage does appear in that film...

Ok, now... It's still promising if his character dies, fast, in first 1-2 mins of the film.

This has Nicolas Cage... as a comic-book villain.

Just. Imagine. How. OTT. It'll make The Wicker Man look like The Pianist.

Yes!

Kick. Ass.

Stardust is one of my favourite films, and I am quite a bit in creepy love with Chris Mintz-Plasse so more to be excited by!
