New Robin Hood trailer and pics = Gladiator 2?

New Robin Hood trailer and pics = Gladiator 2?
Robin Hood is back and, in addition to his mad archery and bow staff skills, he now has an inappropriate rock accompaniment — 'cos everyone knows the Sheriff of Nottingham can't stand the clang of electric guitars!

I'm on board. If it's half as good as Gladiator, I'll be happy, because I still consider that to be a damn good movie (though I still don't think it deserved to win best picture, but that's just me).

Aw fuck, not Cate Blanchett. I just can't see past the 'poo face' ever since that comment on Benjamin Button.

Isn't Russel too old and fat for Robin Hood thingy? Looks more like a broker skilled at drinking beer and eating zillions of pizzas than a cunning hero that eats only hunted animals. Anyways, what was so special in Gladiator to repeat it in Albion kind of story? I guess ending was cool, cos Russel died, or maybe not, I can't recall.

Yeah, looks good. Been a while since we've had one of these sort of films it seems - maybe Gladiator was the last one with the authentic "epic" feeling?

He does look a bit silly holding that bow and arrow like one of the Mitchell Brothers, though.

I'll lay my cards on the table and say this looks fucking fantastic. Gladiator is one of my all time fav movies, have watched it endlessly. And if this is more of the same, I'll buy the Blu-Ray soon as.
Lots of angry looking Maximus Hood in the trailer, that'll do for me.
*thumps chest*

The bursting out the sea and the ending with him glaring ready to shoot arrows like a pissed off person has me hard.
Just need a villain to pit him against rather than Alan Rickman as Dame Nottingham
