I am with Matt on that. Know it is only one pic, but it looks way better that Tobey version. Wondering if they add armpit web like in old costume back in the days... Just kidding.

It looks less clean, more ragged. It's a darker, less campy Spiderman. Sure, it's clichéd that every director wants to darken up a family favourite but I think that it'll all fall into place for Webb, I'm getting a grungier, more urban hero for a grungy supercity. He seems to complement New York.

His head looks too big.

Even better (sorry, more geeking), but it's been picked up elsewhere on the internets that, right at the bottom of this pic, you can just about make out what looks like web shooters attached to Parker's wrists.

This makes me happy - I was never quite onboard with Raimi's decision to make the web thing a natural side effect of the spider bite.

It makes Tobey Maguire look like that other kid in The Basketball Diaries that wasn't him or Mark Wahlberg or Leonardo DiCaprio.

I'm with Matt. I think it is different enough -- the spider logo, the darkness of the colors, the lack of the webbing look, and those awesome gloves -- and I like how lanky Garfield looks in it.

Not keen on the costume design, but I do think it's different enough from Maguire's suit.
