YouTube, of all places, is home to the first trailer for Mike Newell's Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time videogame adaptation. What say the judges? Well, it's very... beige. And there's lots of sand. That's good, right?

Did remind me a lot of The Mummy. Lots of swinging on things and forced banter between a man and a woman.

Is the villain Mark Heap aka Brian the weirdo artist from Spaced? Sure looks like him. Probably not though.

That's damning a movie with faint praise though.
When the only thing I can muster from watching all the money shots from a $19 trillion dollar summer flagpole movie is "I like Donnie Darko's accent" that about sums it up.

This should've been called "Prince of Persia: The Mummy Whatever"

It looks like a cut-scene intro from the xbox game but with the clumsy banter from whatever the last one was called, the cel-shaded thing.

I'll give Glyhnghhlll credit for his accent though.
