With Avatar now officially the highest grossing film of all time, Sam Worthington can now look around him, say "My work here is done" and move on to making the same kind of movies as everyone else. Vampire movies.
As an aside, after putting this up, I searched online and found HMV selling Alex Proyas' Dark City on blu-ray for just £7.99. Great flick - mad scientist Jack Bauer and a demented Richard O'Brien. Sold!
I can't make up my mind whether I like this guy or not. Everything I've seen him in, he's been overwhelmed by everything else - the shittiness of Terminator Salvation and the awesomeness of Avatar.
In interviews he comes across as a really nice, down to Earth guy. Unfortunately, having seen him in two huge films, the fact that I still don't know if he can act unfortunately doesn't bode well for him.
Oh yeah, Dracula. Ummm sounds terrible. The world does not need another Dracula story, thank you. Hollywood has a shorter memory span than a bloody goldfish.
He was even in this shicky crocodile horror movie as a bit part the other day. Yet his features are so bland, it's like looking at nothing and everything at the same time.
