Looks like a very good adaptation, but the source material isn't my cup of tea.

I dunno like, she looked rather tremendous in Die Hard 4... and *cough* Sky High (I'm assuming she was legal when that film came out...)

What? Someone lent me it, it would've been rude not to watch it, especially as it has Kurt Russell AND Bruce Campbell in it.

Maybe it's because it takes way much more effort to enhance moving pictures than photoshop static ones.

Yeah, I'll be seeing this, though Mary Elizabeth Winstead doesn't appear as hot as she used to... (maybe it's just the hair?)

Yeah, I'm on board with this, and I think Cera will do fine. I've been a fan of the comics for some time now, and from the I saw in that trailer, Wright et al have absolutely nailed both the look and tone of the books. Can't wait to see this one, while the rest of you sticks in the mud sit on your porches and scream at all the kids who won't get off your lawns.

I'm getting old as I watched this blank-faced and then just turned it off halfway through.

I'm sure it's great if you like this sort of thing, but leaves me nonplussed.
I don't care about the trials and tribulations of teenagers/twentysomethings, no matter how kooky and hyper-realised it may be.
I watched & enjoyed The Road, Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and District 9.
It's not even that I loathed this trailer as I would, say, Transformers 12. I just watched it with crickets chirruping in my head and tumbleweeds across my soul.
