Absolutely one of the best films I\'ve seen this year, and certainly one of the most stylish I\'ve seen period. I\'ve never read the comics and even though I knew Rodriguez is one talented fella, I never expected an experience quite as enjoyable as this. Agree with the point about relentless monologuing, but then it was kinda unavoidable really. Del Toro really is the fuckin\' man. Even as a corpse he\'s threatening.

Brilliant film, best I\'ve seen in a while. I haven\'t read any of the comics so I can\'t really compare but it certainly works well as a film. All three of the main stories are nicely done with good acting by the three main men in particular. Splitting Bruce Willis\' section up into two parts was slightly distracting though.
