I went to this! I thought it was amazing but it definately suffered by being compared to the film (by myself, perhaps not the entire arena). I wanted to see Derek Smalls get stuck in a pod and the band get lost on the way to stage! Still, there were dwarves dancing around the stage for Stonehenge which was a delight. There wasn't enough of The Folksmen though.

I still laugh at the bit in The Return of Spinal Tap (awesome follow-up btw) where Nigel Tufnel pours wine into the foldaway glass he invented, and it just spills out the sides all over his hands, then he looks to the camera and says "bon vino!"

I would have loved to have seen this, but get the feeling I'd have felt the same. Was always going to suffer in comparison to the film, because frankly, the film is probably the funniest thing I've ever seen. "Such a fine line between stupid and clever."

Still meaning to see Anvil as well, I hear that's top.
