Review: Superbad

Haven't laughed at a movie this much since I saw ninja terminator, but this time I was laughing with the movie! Cheers for recommendin this one:) 'I have a boner' In no other movie could that joke have been funny lol

I'm watching the first series of Arrested Development at the moment, Michael Cera is great in that as well. Recommended if you liked this.

I've started to watch this one too, will finish over the weekend. So far it's made me chuckle to myself more than once. Fantastically potty-mouthed but believable because teens swear a lot to imply adulthood and experience.

Just got back from seeing this one again, really can't recommend it enough. Found loads of new things I liked about it, in particular the two immature cops.

There's a scene near the end when they break up a house party - one of the kids opens the door, and the cops are both standing there. Officer Slater (Bill Hader) looks at him, puts this stupid face on and goes "Oh no, it's the cops!" I was nearly in tears.

Just seen it, this is a great film. I genuinely cant think any other that throws joke after joke after joke at you so quickly and the best part is that it never feels unnatural. The two leads spark off each other brilliantly. The only part where the film suffers is when the quest for booze begins and they dont have as much time to talk, the cops are fun and have some great lines but you're still waiting for the return of Seth and Evan.
The 2nd to last scene where they reconnect is the sweetest scene in any teen movie since Stand By Me. Apt really as this is the best teen movie since then.
