Review: Surrogates
Posted by Rob at 23:30 on 29 Sep 2009 Reviews A-Z
Movies based on computer games are usually complete balls - it's a well known cinematic fact. But it seems that finally, some powerful people have realised this. The solution: Films inspired by the gaming world but not based upon anything in particular.

I could have sworn I commented on this.
Anyway, it sucked. Big time. Good idea, though but it was a stretch, even at just 85 minutes.

Does the trailer give away the ending? Looks like it.
I gave up with the comics two issue in. It's not a very good story...

I can think of a handful of movies Willis has made that have been good:
Die Hard (1,2 & 3), The Sixth Sense, 12 Monkeys,Pulp Fiction & Sin City.
The rest have been uniformly awful, yet he still coasts from movie to movie. How???
Better than Marky Mark though, he was good in Boogie Nights and has just scowled in every movie since.

I got about halfway through reading this review before I got bored of the idea and stopped. I'll take spaz hunting tigers over this convoluted nonsense anyday.
