Presumably that's a result of the overhype effect. I had the same problem with Knocked Up - funny but didn't get everyone's 5-star ratings.

I thought The Hangover was great but then I saw it before everyone started claiming it was the best comedy since Duck Soup.

Surprised that this really wasn't as good as I'd been expecting. There's certainly nothing wrong with it but I only laughed at two parts. Naming the baby "Carlos" and post beatdown Cooper "Who was that guy? He was so mean!"
