Review: The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games
Now that the pallid adventures of K-Stew, R-Patz and T-Lauts are officially coming to an end, welcome to your new Teen Phenomenon Based On A Series Of Books. There's a female lead, there's a love triangle, there's even CGI wolf dogs…are we destined to spend the next few years balking at more inappropriate mum groupies and handmade Hunger Game-themed sex toys? Not so, for this tale is above such cringe-worthy histrionics, delivering surprising substance and maturity, and, as a result, packing more punch.

Encouraged by IMDB rating (7.8) and your positive review, I went to the cinema with missus...

OMG. I hardly remember last time I wanted to leave the cinema in the middle of screening. What the fuck is wrong with people who make such a bad movie? Shakycam ver 2.0 + nonsense plot + wooden young cast + PG-13 rating + plot black holes.

The movie had two good things:
1) the dialogue between Donald and this gayish-beard guy about hope, although these lines don't fit at all to this teen flick, it's about something else.
2) it has finally ended.

I wish I hadn't spent my money on this rubbish. And they will make 2 more... No more money from me.

Hahaha after I read the books I knew you'd like the movie despite all the snarky comments you made about the posters and comparisons to Twilight in previous articles. It's true all the cool kids shoot arrows at monsters, falling in love with them is so last year.
