Top 20 movies of 2010
Hello there. It's customary round these parts to put films in lists, simply because it's fun to do and interesting to read. I can't claim this list of our favourite movies of 2010 has even the slightest whiff of authority (I've not seen Somewhere, Carlos, Another Year, Easy A, I Am Love, The Secret In Their Eyes, Waiting For Superman or Gulliver's Travels among others) but I can say that these 20 films are the ones us humble folk at
enjoyed the most this year. Scream at us in capitals in the comments if you disagree, but I hope you enjoy it all the same.

I watched it on the strength of it's review here, then I went and bought it on Bluray. It's a great film as long as you're not looking for anything deep and don't watch it too often.

Still amused that Scott Pilgrim made the list.
Did anybody except critics actually watch it?

Winter's bone was very good. Sometimes real is miserable, but the ending does show a lot of redemption among the bad livers. Hollywood must have been relieved. Wanna laugh untill tears roll down your face? Watch Kickass. Don't let it bother you that Nick Cage is in it.

I also watched Winter's Bone last night. I'm totally mystified as to all the praise it's gotten. Couldn't connect to it at all, which might be a good thing considering how relentlessly fucking miserable it is.

Let Me In is like me taking a photo of a beautiful painting and selling to people
And put Dogtooth in before anyone notices

I've only seen 5 on the movies on this list.
Though at least I've seen all the top 3.
And I appreciate the respect for the calendar shown in this top 20.
Top 20 movies of 2010 which were actually released in 2010 unlike all of the other bastards which include movies plebs like me could not have possibly seen yet.

A-ha! Dogtooth, that's it - been trying to remember what that one was called for ages, thanks!

Good list, reminded me of a few films that I'd forgotten about.
As far as films missing, I'd add Precious, The Kids Are All Right, Dogtooth and Easy A.
Scott Pilgrim was my film of the year until I saw it a 2nd time. It doesn't hold up well. Instead, I'm going with A Single Man as my choice.

Black Swan is out next year. Obviously you must be a member of Bafta to have seen it.

Glad to see Black Swan isn't in there. It's alright, hyper hysterical and just plain "...er...." by the end.
And Winter's Bone & Black Dynamite get my number 1 & 2.
Really want to watch The Town but my exploding balls render that impossible at the moment.
Scott Pilgrim can fuck off, but not as much as Let Me In

Took me a while to notice every number in the pictures :o that's brilliant! And I still obviously need to watch a lot of these, I was very eager to see The Road but never found the time. And I'd never heard of Restrepo before but it looks interesting.
Now, what movies is the shiznit excited for in 2011?
