Top 20 movies of 2011

One year. 12 months. About 30 weeks or something. Quite a few films. It's been the best 2011 since time began, and the following 20 films are officially - or as official as something can be when presented by someone with no authority - our favourite movies of the year. Hop on board our time machine and revisit the 20 greatest films of 2011! [Time machine may just be an old chair and mostly metaphorical in nature - Ed.]

You people obviously didn't get the chance to see "Big Wet Booty Boner-thon 18", or else this list would be slightly different.

Though I don't agree with all of your choices, great job everyone.

My personal favourite (though not the best) was The Future but then I love Miranda July.
I can't think of anything that's massively impressed me this year but then I've only seen 5 of those 20. I had Tyrannosaur on my rental list but it seems grim.

Agree with Sam Neill, "Senna" was glorious having finally seen it.
Ok I'm an F1 uber-fan but still, amazingly touching & a good insight into *why* people love him.

Just can't bring myself to watch Tyrannasaur, too close to home for comfort. Love everybody involved but not something I can watch.

And this black screen thing is a fucking joke, I can barely see to type. Excuse any typos.
