Okay, Goaty, you win. I liked it mostly because I took my niece and nephew to see it and it was a fun day.

Come back, Goaty...

Aw, come back Goats! They're all bollocks! I'd rather watch Iron man and shake my laptop like a etch-a-sketch.
Please come back?
That's the only ball we've got...
*kicks turf*

British Bulldog anyone?

Only the one you have jammed in your ass.
Transformers? I mean really, Transformers?

Michael Bay? Giant fighting robots? Smeary The Beef?
At what point do alarms have to start ringing?
I'm not playing anymore, I'm taking my ball and going home.

*grumblemumble*

I liked the first one, too, Matt. The second one sucked ass.

Goaty, does this mean I only lose one of my thumbs?

Is now a good time to chime in with: "I quite enjoyed the first one"?

The sequel was utter shite, but I was pleasantly surprised by the first one. Sure, it's brainless popcorn for the eyes, but I quite enjoyed it. I can't quite put my finger on why, but that's probably a good thing 'cos Goaty would take it away.

[EDIT: forgot to mention that I have no doubt this third film will be tragically crap too. Just wanted to make that clear. I am NOT holding out for this to be any good.]

I think a good rule of thumb is that anybody who watched and enjoyed these movies should have their thumbs taken away until they realise the error of their ways.

Chris, that's exactly the reason I wrote it.
Huzzah for synergy.

Hated the first one, didn't bother with the second one, and am probably going to avoid the third one. Why am I commenting on this? Because I'm bored, and wanted to shout my opinion into the ether. That's about it, really.

Transformers 3 filming in Chicago? Great. Traffic here didn't suck enough, now we'll have Michael Bay shutting down miles of expressway and annoying tourists coming in from the suburbs so their little bat-faced, porcine bastard offspring can get a glimpse of Optimus Prime because they haven't figured out yet that he's just a friggin CARTOON. And shrieking teenage girls can throw themselves and their underwear at Shia Le-whatsisname. And college boys in Hyundais who are all trying to look like the kid from Twilight can hoot and holler at Megan Fox while they get drunk and piss on garbage dumpsters...

Goddamnit, I'm coming to London.

Does anybody honestly care? I care more about Superman than Transformers right now.

That SP episode was 100% spot-on. Spooning feeding a docile audience explosive visual diarrhoea does not a film make.

I think Bay is perfectly summed up in the Imagination Land episodes of South Park.

"Those aren't ideas, those are special effects!"

"I... I don't understand the difference..."
