Three ways to enter and win Unstoppable on DVD, a movie that's about a runaway train that's never comin' back - wrong way down a one-way track. Yet again, Soul Asylum prove to be eerily prescient.
No, I remember being in a second-hand record store and seeing the Hanson album for £1 and my mate said "That's actually totally worth it. If you forget about Mmm-Bop, the rest of the songs on that album are surprisingly ok."
I bought it. They weren't. I don't know what I was thinking. It was shit.
Well Matt, it could have been worse, for example you might have been a fan of Hanson. Then it would a serious reason to crucify you... Oh, you liked them too? Erm...
Then, I remember that MTV used to play some music, some of it really good. Or maybe not. Sometimes it's so distant it seems only a legend.
Soul Asylum's Runaway Train reminds me of MTV, when it used to play music, and that song was on heavy rotation. That and The Connells 74-75. Though that may have been a year later.
