Jurassic Park Week: Actual serious dinosaur news update

Ali

21st September 2011

Thought you knew what killed the dinosaurs? You were WRONG.

NASA very kindly waited until Jurassic Park Week was in full swing to announce some shocking news about what they think killed the dinosaurs. Apparently, the asteroid known as Baptistina, which NASA presumed smashed into planet Earth 65 million years ago, fragging the dinosaurs once and for all, actually dropped da bomb far later. That means the true extinction level event is yet to be determined.

I'm no expert, but here are my best guesses:

- It was another asteroid

Like I said, I'm no expert. To compensate, here is a thing.

RAWR! This week on TheShiznit.co.uk is Jurassic Park Week, because it's my favourite film ever and it's getting a limited theatrical re-release on the 23rd September. Be sure to pre-order the Blu-ray boxset, which is released on 24th October.
