Saw it in 2D, it was OK, felt a bit rushed in places. The Bubo scene was like "Remember the original film? Look, see, we remember it! REMEMBER THE ORIGINAL, DAMMIT!" as he waved the prop in our faces (no doubt in the 3D version the owl came right out, just in case you'd forgotten about the original)
And yeah, the ending was a bit surreal, but the only time in the entire film that I actually bought Liam Neeson's acting (he did a good villain in Batman Begins but here? No thanks)
