Channing goes Roman in new photos

Channing Tatum will get all Roman Epic on your ass in his new film The Eagle Of The Ninth. We have the pictures to prove it.
Despite coming from both the writer and the director of The Last King Of Scotland, and starring some choice thespians like Donald Sutherland and even Jamie Bell, The Eagle Of The Ninth just doesn't hold much interest for me.
Perhaps it's because we have already seen a glut of sandals-and-swords film, and we have Clash Of The Titans already on the way, or maybe it's just the movie title doesn't sound exciting in the slightest. Or maybe it's because I've already used up my day's quotient of enthusiasm on Call Of Duty.
See what you think:
Accompanied only by his British slave Esca (Bell), Marcus sets out across Hadrian's Wall into the uncharted highlands of Caledonia - to confront its savage tribes, make peace with his father's memory, and retrieve the lost legion's golden emblem, the Eagle of the Ninth.
Oh, and there's Billy Elliott looked all ripped and stuff in one last ditch attempt to shed his tutu.
