Variety.com invents entire new language

If you're me you have to sift through TV news from a few sites most days in search of stuff to be sarcastic about on these pages as if that somehow benefits humanity. As valuable a service as these sites provide in reporting every little story and non-story going, the language of the business of TV is sometimes impenetrable. Read the full story at Variety.com if you've got the first clue what it involves. Me, I don't even know what a 'Ryan Seacrest' is.
