The story about The Four Seasons, as told by The Four Seasons, based on the musical about The Four Seasons, executively produced by Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio… of The Four Seasons. So, in keeping with the theme, here is a review of the film about The Four Seasons by the band themselves. Er… The Four Seasons.

Right from the dull start to the frankly terrifying epilogue, the film contains lacklustre visuals as it plods out a wooden plot with no hint of the spectacle and glamour that so enriches the stage musical. And then it all ends with a horrible, prosthetically-enhanced coda that sees Clint Eastwood employ the same nightmare-fuel age make-up that dogged his last film, J. Edgar.
