Hopes for The Snowman And The Snowdog
TV Feature | Ed Williamson | 14th December 2012
A sequel to Christmas classic The Snowman hits our screens on Christmas Eve. I don't know about you, but I'm hoping it desecrates the original and sullies the memories of my childhood forever. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Knightmare contestant grew up to be Italian cruise ship captain
TV Video | Ed Williamson | 1st October 2012
Yes, I know that joke was only topical about nine months ago. YOU try and write a justification for posting a clip from Knightmare where some kid can't tell left from right. This stuff's not easy, you know. -
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot linked to anarchist group
TV News | Ed Williamson | 12th July 2012
The subjects of a soon-to-be-revived multi-million-dollar merchandising franchise are, it turns out, fervent anti-capitalists looking to bring down society from within. And eat pizza.

DVD weekly: won't anybody think of the children?!
TV Feature | Kirsty Harrison | 19th March 2012
It's time we got something straight: our site attracts tens of pre-school kids and it's time we stopped talking about boobs and gangsters and got to the meat of what really matters to our readers. Poorly rendered CGI anthropomorphic cartoons.

DVD weekly: Gruffalos, angel lawyers and what Mulder did next
TV Feature | Ed Williamson | 13th February 2012
Very nearly a clean sweep of things I've actually seen in this week's DVDs round-up. Two out of three, anyway. Come on, that's pretty good for us.

Sorry, we've got no Sorry I've Got No Head
TV Feature | Kirsty Harrison | 24th November 2011
The wonderful "Sorry, I've Got No Head", CBBC's premier children's sketch show, has been retired from the screen after three very successful years. Click through to see some of the best sketches and read some random grumbling about Horne and Corden or youth being wasted on the youth or somesuch. Screw Shooting Stars, this is a travesty.

The stars of children's TV: where are they now?
TV Feature | Ed Williamson, Matt Looker | 7th July 2011
Back in the eighties, when you spent hours watching cartoons instead of playing with the other kids because they all said you smelled of wee (no? Just us then?), we bet you never gave a moment's thought to how the stars of those cartoons would turn out.

ThunderKittens
TV News | Kirsty Harrison | 3rd July 2011
Did you know there are 130 episodes of ThunderCats? 130 episodes of them defeating Mumm-Ra, eating oddly smooth chicken legs and standing about laughing at Snarf.
That is to say there were 130. Thanks to Warner Bros and Cartoon Network, that's all about to change. -
Late obit for Zippy, George and Dalek
TV News | Matt Looker | 10th June 2011
The death of voice actor Roy Skelton has rendered Rainbow’s Zippy and George, as well as a few Daleks, literally speechless. Oh what? What?
