Courteney Cox

News, Reviews & Features
  • It's spelt CourtEney Cox, apparently

    TV News | Ed Williamson | 6th February 2013

I had no idea. Even during the whole 'Cox-Arquette' debacle when her name was under slightly more scrutiny, I was completely in the dark as to the extra 'e'. This changes everything. The Tippex-penned slogans on my pencil case, for one. Oh, and she's going to guest-star on Matthew Perry's Go On in April, but the spelling thing's the real story here.

  • Friends bloopers make it all better

    TV Video | Ed Williamson | 18th October 2011

Fail to crack a smile and go all hugsy-wugsy at a bunch of Friends blooper videos. Go on. I defy you.

  • Terribrill: Masters Of The Universe

    Movie Feature | Ali | 12th September 2011

Forget '80s nostalgia: I don't think there was EVER a time when making a live-action He-Man movie was considered a good idea. The kids cartoon - which, let's face it, none of us have watched in decades for fear of discovering just how shoddy and completely balls it actually was - is basically the same dumb story, over and over. The characters are barely even one-dimensional: there's a bowl-cutted himbo with a big sword who's constantly fighting an angry skeleton to save a sorceress dressed like a peacock. Why? Because kids are idiots, that's why. They'll sit open-mouthed and gawp at this stupid shit every Saturday morning, so it stands to reason they'd pay good pocket money to go see the movie, too.

  • Friends: The One Where it's not actually on any more

    TV Feature | Ed Williamson | 3rd September 2011

This Sunday. 8pm. IT. ALL. ENDS. Again.

  • Scream 4

    Movie Review | Ali | 16th April 2011

"Sequels? Oh please! By definition alone, sequels are inferior films!" It's a good job Randy the film nerd was killed off in Scream 2, because he'd have been bloody livid if he survived only to find himself in Scream 3, and far less impressed if he'd managed to stay alive long enough for Scream 4/Scre4m/SCRE4M, the now clichéd 'one sequel too far' that every horror franchise seems destined to suffer.

  • You scream, I scream, we all scream for the Scream 4 trailer

    Movie Trailer | Ali | 21st October 2010

"The rules have changed," says a spotty little Randy substitute. Essentially though, Scream 4 will still be about a masked murdered who likes to stab people. So that's okay then.
