Doctor Who carries woman through lots of tin cans on fire
TV Feature | Ed Williamson | 2nd August 2012
No, I haven't seen Doctor Who since the first Eccleston one. No, I haven't got a clue what any of it means or who any of the people or creatures are. But could I really call myself a serious TV journalist if I didn't stumble through an analysis of the new trailer to the embarrassment of all concerned?

DVD weekly: doctors, vicars and simpletons
TV Feature | Ed Williamson | 21st November 2011
"What if God was one of us?" asked Joan Osborne. Newsflash for you, big guy: I wouldn't splash out on an Easter egg for him.

Torchwood: Miracle Day
TV Review | Matt Looker | 17th July 2011
Captain Jack Harness is back, and he's upgraded from Wales to America. That's like moving from a Croydon council estate to a Jetsons-like future, only with less silver jumpsuits and more bisexuality.

The death of voice actor Roy Skelton has rendered Rainbow’s Zippy and George, as well as a few Daleks, literally speechless. Oh what? What?

Trailer for Torchwood: Miracle Day
TV Video | Matt Looker | 31st May 2011
Doctor Who's darker, seedier step-sibling is back, and this time it's all yankified. How do I know? Because a helicopter gets hit by a rocket launcher, that's how.
