Nine things you need to know about Hannibal
TV Feature | Ed Williamson | 18th February 2013
Obviously, "need to know" is a bit of a stretch. You don't need to know them in the sense that you'll be at risk of losing your job or home if you don't, nor will your children be taken into care because of the danger in which you've placed them through your ignorance. But this is how you write features on the internet: put everything in a list.

It's spelt CourtEney Cox, apparently
TV News | Ed Williamson | 6th February 2013
I had no idea. Even during the whole 'Cox-Arquette' debacle when her name was under slightly more scrutiny, I was completely in the dark as to the extra 'e'. This changes everything. The Tippex-penned slogans on my pencil case, for one. Oh, and she's going to guest-star on Matthew Perry's Go On in April, but the spelling thing's the real story here.

Community: actually back for real this time
TV Video | Ed Williamson | 4th February 2013
On Thursday. Probably. Unless Chevy Chase takes out a last-minute injunction, or they bump it for a half-hour Days of Our Lives special or whatever. -
BREAKING: Chevy Chase took this long to leave Community
TV News | Ed Williamson | 22nd November 2012
I don't know about you, but the last time I left my boss an expletive-strewn voicemail then dropped the N-bomb in front of black colleagues, they didn't let me hang around long. Still, he's Chevy Chase ... and we're not. So long, Pierce.

A brief guide to Chicago Fire's focus on characterisation
TV Feature | Ed Williamson | 31st October 2012
I can't remember a good firefighter drama since London's Burning. Remember London's Burning? It was great: there was a guy who was the fire chief and he was Greek, and a guy who did the cooking, who they called Bayleaf. It explored complex social issues, like stuff catching fire and people being called Bayleaf.

Community: The Complete Second Season DVD
TV Review | Ed Williamson | 26th September 2012
You'll have noticed that we don't do DVD Weekly any more. It's difficult - arguably futile - to maintain a weekly feature based on DVDs you haven't seen, especially when most of them are reissues of Boon. So yeah, we probably just won't bother covering DVDs from now OH WAIT HERE'S A REALLY GOOD ONE

Add these together and you've kind of got House
TV Video | Ed Williamson | 20th September 2012
Miss House? Don't worry, here's two new TV doctor shows lined up to replace him, both of which DEFINITELY have legs.

TV Video | Ed Williamson | 25th May 2012
They can't put out a fire for shit in Chicago, but the calendars look great. -
