Some casting suggestions for Game of Thrones
TV Feature | Iain Robertson | 6th March 2014
Game of Thrones returns for its fourth season in April and, frankly, I can't wait. Despite this very website placing it a measly 16th in its list of top TV shows last year, it's easily the best thing on TV. (The list was topped by something called "Breaking Bad" which, although sounding very interesting, hasn't got dragons or naked fire priestesses in it, so fuck knows how that's meant to be better.)

Misprint ruins cover of Salman Rushdie's Game of Thrones novel
TV News | Ed Williamson | 27th February 2014
Must have taken the bloke ages to write. You'd think they could've at least spelled his name correctly.

Emilia Clarke sexually harassed on Game of Thrones set by dragon
TV Video | Ed Williamson | 11th February 2014
"He just kept staring at my breasts," the star confirmed. "It was worse than working with Leslie Grantham." 15-minute season four preview thing here.

The Following picks up right where it left off
TV Feature | Ed Williamson | 29th January 2014
I held off for a couple of weeks, but now I'm watching season two of The Following and am delighted to report that it is still written by the same people.
BODY SCANNING ISN'T A REAL THING, GUYS. -
Too soon: the end of Empire
TV Feature | Ed Williamson | 13th January 2014
This year's fifth season of Boardwalk Empire will be its last. Most good shows these days have the knack of stopping just at the right time, but for me, this one could have run and run.

Bloody hell, The bloody Following's coming bloody back
TV Video | Ed Williamson | 23rd October 2013
This 'new face of evil' you mentioned. Don't suppose there's a chance it's the EXACT SAME face of evil from the last time around, is there? Please don't let me live to see January. -
Michael Shannon: pretty much just mucking about these days
TV Feature | Ed Williamson | 29th September 2013
Whenever I watch Michael Shannon on Boardwalk Empire these days I get the distinct impression he's just goofing off.

The Newsroom records first-ever TV instance of woman not wearing make-up to bed
TV News | Ed Williamson | 2nd September 2013
This has literally never once happened before in TV or film. Every woman in the history of the moving image has gone to bed fully made-up, and woken up with it still immaculately applied. The Newsroom's Maggie Jordan today advanced the cause of women on TV by exactly 9.6 years, according to my Feminism Calculator. Hey, wait a second, this is just a Mattel Barbie cash register with a sticker of Ellen DeGeneres on it!

Well done for looking old, Boardwalk Empire poster
TV Feature | Ed Williamson | 9th August 2013
Funny thing: Boardwalk Empire's all about old-timey people and stuff that happened to them in, like, olden times and that, but none of the promotional stuff's ever been made to look old before. I guess Instagram filters were less widespread this time last year. (Trailer here too, which would look a lot more authentically Prohibition-era if it wasn't on YouTube.)

Some Jon Voigt gifs from the Ray Donovan trailer, just because
TV Feature | Ed Williamson | 2nd July 2013
Making a gif, that's the easy bit. Explaining why ... now that takes some stones.
