What an awesome day: first, we get featured on the IMDB homepage, then comes the trailer for Mega Shark Vs Crocosaurus. I dreamed it would happen, just like this.
They get me every time. The Asylum's 'mockbusters' - that's the dreadfully cheap rip-offs that piggyback popular releases with clever cover art and titles like Transmorphers - are good for a few laughs, but the actual movies are, unsurprisingly, dreadful. I had to review Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus earlier this year, and instead of a camp, tongue-in-cheek action romp, I saw a film that looked like it was made from parts bought in a pound shop.
Saying that... boy, doesn't this trailer for Mega Shark Vs Crocosaurus just look incredible? Giant sharks! Mutant crocodiles! Gary Stretch! And... and... Urkel! That's fucking... Urkel! Put me in a room with this and the latest Hilary Swank movie, and I'd watch the Hilary Swank movie, but with a very, heavy heart.
