First up, this trailer for Taken 2 shows that, as revenge for what Liam Neeson did in the first film, the bad guys now take his ex-wife. Obviously, a better revenge would be to kill her, but the film still has to be called Taken, so she's only taken. Taken.
The Watch still looks like an expensive so-so comedy.
Confession: I haven't seen Monsters, Inc. But this first teaser trailer for prequel Monsters University actually made me laugh out loud so I have renewed interest in seeking it out. Well played, Pixar. Well played.
Anna Karenina certainly looks like a film with costumes and drama and that.
"Judgment time", "Let's finish this", "Negotiation's over"... not a single line of dialogue in the new Dredd trailer makes me think it is going to be any good. Plus it looks like The Raid but with guns and helmets instead punches and kicks. Punches and kicks are better.
Rashida Jones co-wrote and stars in new dramedy Celeste And Jessie Forever with Andy Samberg. In other news, I love Rashida Jones.
Paul Thomas Anderson's thinly-veiled Scientology film The Master gets another curious trailer. I like to think that , besides the footage we've already seen, the rest of the film will dispense with subtlety and just show a still of a googly-eyed Tom Cruise for two hours.
A red-band trailer for found footage horror V/H/S doesn't know how to stop showing rapid cuts of scary things. Sure, demony ghosts are cool, but what's the film actually about? An old tape? Laaaaame.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2. Because I have to.
If Klown proves anything, it's that the Danish are mental.
Finally, here's another full-length trailer for The Dark Knight Rises followed by a new TV spot. Excite! Bat's gonna get ya!
