Movie trailer round-up: The Wizard of Oz, Indy and E. Aster Bunnymund

Matt

15th July 2012

This week's trailer round-up is a special Sunday 15th-themed one, in commemoration of the day that Jason Voorhees would traditionally pick himself up, dust himself down and get ready to go into his usual 9-5 job at the office on Monday.

First up, Lawless easily has the best ensemble cast since Grown Ups:

This collection of three Bourne Legacy TV spots makes me wonder if this whole round-up would be easier if I just combined them all into one YouTube clip.

This Ice Age 4: Continental Drift parody trailer, entitled 'The Dark Nut Rises', just makes us remember that the cast of characters in the Ice Age franchise aren't anywhere near as smart or funny as The Muppets.

It's here! The first trailer for Sam Raimi's Oz: The Great And Powerful, courtesy of Comic-Con, And it looks kinda like... um... Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland? Ulp.

And the Festival-winning Indie Film Of The Week Award goes to Hello I must Be Going:

If you've seen the red-band trailer for V/H/S, this green-band trailer can only be a disappointment.

I'm almost looking forward to a time when I won't have a new TV spot for The Dark Knight Rises to mention.

The Sweeney is still a thing that is happening that looks awful.

I've only just found out that the Easter Bunny in Rise Of The Guardians is actually called 'E. Aster Bunnymund'. Jesus - was it a choice to make this kids' cartoon film about fictional myths more realistic?

Gangster Squad has an ensemble cast to rival Lawless - and, by default, Grown Ups.

Finally, this trailer for the Indiana Jones Blu-ray collection contains exactly eight seconds of footage from The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skulls. Just sayin'.
