Guy Ritchie is pissing all over the world’s greatest detective yet again, but it’s ok because ROBERT DOWNEY JR.
But now we finally have our first glimpses of the sequel in the form of a teaser trailer. Well, they’re calling it a teaser trailer, but this doesn’t quite so much tease the film as show us lots of clips from it. In that respect, it seems more like a ‘trailer’.
Still, as much as the first film was a ridiculous adaptation with Ritchie taking one of the most well-loved literary characters and Sir-Arthur-Conan-Doyally screwing him up for a new generation, it was still a perfectly fun blockbuster movie (cue steely comment about how BBC’s Sherlock series does it much better though).
And, as this trailer shows, the sequel is set to deliver everything we could possibly want: slow-motion bullets, a wry Downey Jr, comedy cross-dressing and some over-the-top homo-eroticism from two bromantically charged innuendudes.
Plus, check out, Lisbeth Salander talking all English and stuff!
