George Clooney is back in the Middle East, but he's not stealing Kuwaiti bullion or trying to win an Oscar; he's trying to kill a goat with his mind. It's a comedy! Hooray!
This is your first look at The Men Who Stare At Goats, the comedy based on Jon Ronson's book about a weird-but-true US military unit who were trained to be 'psychic spies' by teaching them to walk through walls and kill animals with the power of their minds.
Needless to say, with Clooney trotting out his trusty idiot routine, this feels like a Coen brothers cast-off, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. Plus, of course, the presence of Jeff Bridges in full-on 'Dude' mode can only add awesome.
I could have done without Ewan McGregor's awful American accent and the intrusive voiceover though. Here's hoping he doesn't get his knob out in this one too.
