Val Kilmer has really let himself go
He also appears to be flanked by the gypsy Hall and Oates.

Iron Man 3 trailer #2 shows off shiny new suit
Do we know if this is set post-Avengers? Looks great but hope it manages to get the thought of "everything's going to shit - why doesn't he just call Thor?" out of your head. Needs to be addressed somehow. You can't just be like, "Oh, Thor's off in the Cotswolds for the weekend and he's got no mobile reception." I think about this stuff too much.

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters
My primary concern is that Jeremy Renner's gun looks like a veiny metal wang with a condom on it.

I Give It A Year
In agreement with all of this. Best British romcom I've seen in years. Brave enough to sidestep the traditional paths you expect it to go down and is very funny throughout.

Zero Dark Thirty
I forget where I've written this before, but it has always seemed obvious to me that the man and woman in the top right-hand corner of the Situation Room picture were Photoshopped in. Who are they? What sort of MASSIVE COVER-UP does this mean? Who's behind it and why don't they want us to know the truth?

Also, something something films.

Lincoln
Can't help thinking it's not going to do massive numbers outside the US. Other than Spielberg himself, there's no obvious box-office draw. Everyone knows how great Day-Lewis is but he's more admired than he is a crowd-pleaser. Subject matter is interesting mainly only to Americans when Abe's dicking about with the Constitution rather than hunting vampires. Will be interested to see how it does.

"... the chase is all the more thrilling thanks to sweeping zooms of the little risk-taker behind the wheel" = literally the only use of the word "thrilling" in your review.

Silver Linings Playbook
You're right, she deserves more of a mention than I've given her; she's very good. I think the amount of attention I've paid Cooper's performance is the result of how unexpected it was - that and the man-crush, obviously - whereas I wasn't blown away/surprised by Lawrence; just thought she did very well, so probably haven't mentioned her as much as I should have (ie at all).

In summary, I've used two semicolons, therefore your argument is invalid.

Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted
"... to be fun, funny, entertaining for kids" - that was the idea anyway. "Animation's traditional purpose" might have been more accurate.

H.W. Plainview grew up a dumbass
In his second tweet he's quoting from Man on the Moon by Kid Cudi. Not that this makes him any less of an absolute weapon.
