Can't help thinking it's not going to do massive numbers outside the US. Other than Spielberg himself, there's no obvious box-office draw. Everyone knows how great Day-Lewis is but he's more admired than he is a crowd-pleaser. You're right, she deserves more of a mention than I've given her; she's very good. I think the amount of attention I've paid Cooper's performance is the result of how unexpected it was - that and the man-crush, obviously - whereas I wasn't blown away/surprised by Lawrence; just thought she did very well, so probably haven't mentioned her as much as I should have (ie at all).
