If internet memes were movie stars
That's it, the site has peaked. Close up shop.
(Yes This is Dog is clearly the best)

This story is not true
Ali you should one up yourself and pixelate the date on that poster image.

Suitwatch: Robert Downey Jr has lost his damn mind
This is the definition of someone giving no fucks. Well played sir.

Oz The Great And Powerful
You forgot to mention that it's obviously a true Raimi film, since Bruce Campbell and Ted Raimi are both in there, which apparently is all I need to be sold on a movie.

Proof that Seth MacFarlane's sexism is anything but harmless
A. This reminds me, I never understood the hate for Kirsten Dunst. I always thought she looked great and was fun enough to do that mental video for "Turning Japanese."

B. MacFarlane is alot like Gervais to me. I like quite alot of the things they make because I'm easily amused, but I'm sure I'd HATE to be around them because they both seem like they would be total pricks.

Forget the Oscars, we need to rethink the Razzies
It wouldn't look so much like bullying if they just spread them around a bit. Maybe the Razzies suffer from actually being too well known, which is causing them to focus all their awards at 'bad' but high budget movies.

They should look to the genuinely bad films, which are often great because of it. I'm thinking of things like Birdemic and The Room. They're terrible, and I love them, but ask a 'cinema buff' about them and they mostly draw a blank. The Razzies are the perfect opportunity to bring these to the masses.

#LFF2012: Beasts Of The Southern Wild
Just saw this at the cinema. I think trying to REALLY describe the film to anyone does it a bit of an injustice, because it all felt very unusual. I didn't feel like I understood why some events were happening but both the leads really sold it for me.

Ali is super qualified for me because his brain works like mine. I am also not a theatre person, so I say "Ali, will I enjoy Les Mis anyway?" "Probably not," I am told. Thusly was my money saved.

That is what makes someone's reviews more valid to me. If I've had similar opinions with someone on something I'll take their review of something to heart. And if you really think critics write without any bias then you couldn't be more wrong. It's just the 'good' critics hide their biases under gushy prose.

I actually prefer Ali saying outright that he has little interest in the subject matter because neither do I. It's of much more use to me than another 'Lincoln good because Oscars. Fuck you.'

Guys, I really enjoyed The Avengers. It was my movie of the year. And I remain apprehensive at the thought of watching a glacial biopic of a man who I care little for. I must be 11.

But Avengers is rated 12. I sure am one cool kid to sneak into the theatre. Ali's Mum had to lie to get him in to Transformers. I'm a way cooler 11 year old than you Ali!

It's another film I looked at and thought 'This is probably a fantastic film' but have no intention of seeing, until it hits sky movies so I can watch it in pieces. Even then I'll know it's great but still secretly prefer a mindless action romp because arrrgh focusing!!!
