SUPERBAD (2007)
"YOU KNOW HOW MANY FOODS ARE SHAPED LIKE DICKS? THE BEST KINDS!"
The set-up: Superbad's high school hold-outs Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera) are shooting the shit over lunch, discussing life, love and girls. Seth reveals he hates the object of Evan's affection because of a childhood incident when she rumbled his obsession with "sitting around all day, drawing pictures of dicks."

THE BIG LEBOWSKI (1998)
"NOBODY FUCKS WITH THE JESUS!"
The set-up: Embroiled in a kidnap plot when all he wants to do is go bowling, Jeff Bridge's Dude is introduced to his next league opponent - a pederast by the name of Jesus Quintana (John Turturro). He might be a sensation in the lanes, but as Walter witheringly reminds us: "Eight year-olds, dude."

YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (1974)
"I WAS GONNA MAKE ESPRESSO..."
The set-up: Mel Brooks re-imagines the birth of Frankenstein's monster in this hilarious '70s spoof. Here, Peter Boyle's clueless monster stumbles across the shack of a blind man (Gene Hackman), who proceeds to show him charity by unwittingly beating the hell out of him and accidentally setting him on fire.

SOUTH PARK: BIGGER, LONGER & UNCUT (1999)
"SHUT YOUR FUCKING FACE, UNCLEFUCKER!"
The set-up: The kids of South Park enjoy a trip to the cinema to see their screen idols Terrence And Phillip in action. The forever-farting duo kick things off with a musical number laden with profanity. Lyrics include: "You're an uncle fucker, I must say / You fucked your uncle yesterday!"

THE WICKER MAN (2006)
"KILLING ME WON'T BRING BACK YOUR GODDAMN HONEY!"
The set-up: Neil LaBute probably didn't figure on being part of this list when he set about remaking The Wicker Man, but how could audiences not find Nicolas Cage punching women while dressed as a bear funny? We've cheated and included all the most unintentionally hilarious moments for your viewing pleasure.

OFFICE SPACE (1999)
"PC LOAD LETTER?"
The set-up: Everyone who's ever worked as a cubicle slave knows the feeling: the endless memos, the pointless bureaucracy and the shitty, malfunctioning equipment. The guys of Office Space couldn't contain their rage any longer and exacted their furious revenge on the office printer. With baseball bats and gangsta rap.

WITHNAIL & I (1987)
"PERFUMED PONCE!"
The set-up: Mardy city fellows Withnail (Richard E Grant) and Marwood (Paul McGann) are so desperate for an escape from a rotting '60s London, they end up going on holiday by mistake. But not before they're verbally assaulted by a fat guy in a pub. Watch for the pie stuck in Grant's teeth: it's priceless.

LIFE OF BRIAN (1976)
"WAIT 'TIL BIGGUS DICKUS HEARS OF THIS!"
The set-up: Possible Messiah Brian (Graham Chapman) is captured by the Roman army and thrown to the mercy of an effeminate, speech-impeded Caesar (Michael Palin). He reveals he has a "vewy gweat friend in Wome named Biggus Dickus," which causes no end of hilarity amongst his sub-ordinates.

THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY (1998)
"WE GOT A BLEEDER!"
The set-up: With the infamous zipper scene, the Farrelly Brothers had male viewers around the world crossing their legs in sympathy. Such incidents are sadly relatively commonplace among males, but this is something else - as Keith David's confused onlooker says: "How the hell d'ya get the beans above the frank?"

THE PRODUCERS (1968)
"SPRINGTIME FOR HITLER... AND GERMANY!"
The set-up: Mel Brooks timeless musical comedy sees a pair of crooked producers intentionally stage a flop so they can pocket the proceeds and make a tasty profit. But how to guarantee absolute failure? "Don't be stupid, be a smarty, come and join the Nazi party!" is a good start.
