For the last year, we've been running You Ain't Seen Me, Right? on a Friday: a sort of film school for idiots like... well, like us.
These were all written by Daniel Palmer, an excellent writer who runs Part-Time Infidel, a website for people with whatever the film equivalent of booksmarts is. We're putting him out to pasture, but Dan will continue his fine work on his own site, so make sure you visit him regularly: think of him like a frail, elderly relative who knows more about films than you do.
Without further ado, here's the complete You Ain't Seen Me, Right? collection: click on the pics to read Dan's recommendations.
"
"
"He's so smart, once a film watched him.""
"
"He's what happened when Harry met Sally.""
"
"His eyes automatically shift to different aspect ratios as and when the occasion calls for it.""
"
"He critiqued the home video of his own birth… as it was being filmed.""
"
"John Williams wrote a theme tune for Daniel and considers it his best work.""
"
"He's the only person in the world that can provide a winning argument for the existence of Jar Jar Binks – but he just doesn't want to.""
"
"Before he writes one of these features, he cries: "By Jungle Law, the Ghost Who Walks calls forth the power of ten Roger Eberts!"""
"
"His DVD collection is organised alphabetically by cinematographer.""
"
"He puts words in a really good order."
