Ever wish the films of Stephen King had more dance numbers and needless mincing? You're in luck! Carrie, the scariest movie about menstruation ever, is being adapted for the stage.
Variety are reporting that there's a very real - and very scary - possibility that Stephen King's Carrie may be adapted for the stage.
Teen angst, psychokinesis and period blood - this thing was practically begging to be made into a musical. Put an exclamation mark on the end of the title and we've got ourselves a production! Booyah! Get me Zac Efron!
Believe it or not, Carrie has already had a brief run on Broadway in 1988 - the trailer is below. Sadly, it was deemed one of the most expensive flops ever and sucked so hard it only lasted for five shows before it was killed and buried for good. And nothing that's buried can ever, ever come back, right?
Oh.
