A snapper managed to grab some photos of actress Rooney Mara in training for her role in David Fincher's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
Blimey, David Fincher really isn't wasting any time with his adaptation of Steig Larsson's Millennium trilogy. It only felt like yesterday when Rooney Mara was announced as the new Lisbeth Sander, and judging by these pictures, she's already in motorbike training. This time tomorrow? Hacking lessons. Step one: try 'password' for the password. Lesson over.
I'm guessing this isn't the final look, although obviously the shit haircut and biker gear is a start. Noomi Rapace, the original Swedish star, really got into character by losing weight, piercing her ears and face and swindling huge, corrupt corporations out of millions of dollars. Here's hoping Mara displays the same dedication towards the role.
Check out RooneyMara.net for the full gallery, although be warned, it's a thumbnail nightmare. With pics this small, I actually thought Fincher had hired Cillian Murphy.
