Kick-Ass clip: Nic Cage shoots own kid, has rad moustache

The more I see of this movie, the more I'm convinced it'll be the turning point for Nicolas Cage's career. In this clip, watch him gun down his own child in exchange for a hot fudge sundae. I love you, Nicolas.
Kick-Ass is riding high at the top of my list of 'Movies that sound awesome which I also know very little about'. Even though comic-book author Mark Millar sounds like kind of a douchebag (like if Michael Bay used pen and ink), I dug Wanted and reckon this could be a surprise hit next year. It's been getting stellar reviews, too.
One reason for my excitement is the involvement of my husband, Nicolas Cage, who finally seems to be understanding his appeal. He's started to embrace his role as the freakshow, the cinematic equivalent of the bearded lady - we just want to gawp at him and see what he does. The more off-piste, backward-ass wrong-coms he does like this and Bad Lieutenant, the better.
Also available for your delectation below is the new poster for Chloe Moretz's character, Hit-Girl. From the clip below, it looks like having Nicolas Cage as your father is exactly as much of a dream as I imagined.
