Mamma Mia hunk to play the father of (Captain) America

Dominic Cooper, he of swoon-worthy teen dreamboat status, is claiming he'll play a younger version of Howard Stark in Captain America. Because of his dreamy blue eyes and chiselled physique, no doubt.
Tony Stark's pop was played by Mad Men's John Slattery in Iron Man 2, but apparently Mamma Mia is higher on the list of 'Manly Things That Begin With M' because Dominic Cooper is claiming he's playing the role in Captain America.
My well-known feelings for Mamma Mia aside (though I can't guarantee I won't suddenly burst into song in the middle of this post), Cooper is a pretty solid young actor. He was good in Starter For 10, excellent in The History Boys and pretty darn impressive in An Education. Also, you could grate cheese on those abs! Ay chihuahua!
That said, the character of Howard Stark is pretty much the father of modern invention in the Iron Man universe, and in my experience, people who know their way around a neutron don't rack up too much gym time. But then, this is a movie in which the Human Torch plays Captain America. They should call it Captain Confusing! Right guys? (*leaves high-five hanging*)
