New poster for Pixar's Brave deserves a wide page to itself

Every once in a while, a movie poster comes along that takes your breath away. This is that poster. Don't worry, next week I'll be asking why Tom Hardy looks like he's just stepped out of the showers on the This Means War one-sheet.

Take a bow, Pixar: this is by far the best poster I've seen so far this year. Beautiful use of contrasting colours, stunning composition, a tangible atmosphere with a smidgen of story if you look for it. I'm lost for words, really.



If you ever doubted whether a still image could make you want to see a moving picture, doubt no more: I am now totally Team Merida.
