First Ron Burgundy was shut down when he asked for a sequel; now it looks like Derek Zoolander will be joining the queue at the job centre.
Ben Stiller has been hanging out with the shitmunchers on Twitter, where he's revealed that Zoolander 2 might not be the done deal we all thought it was.

"Ron Burgundy and Derek Zoolander looking to appear in sequels. Both men destitute, without means or intellect to fund their own comebacks."Earth to Paramount? Zoolander 2 is a guaranteed hit: 9/11 was the only reason the original didn't perform better at the box-office, and it's since taken on a life of its own on DVD. Hell, every single photo of a pretty girl on Facebook has them doing the Blue Steel face. Or Magnum. It's hard to tell.
However, you'll have less sympathy with Stiller and friends when you learn that they were trying to make a Zoolander sequel for over $50 million. No offence, but how the fuck is it even possible to shoot a comedy for $50 million? District 9 cost $30 million and that had space aliens and huge fighting robots and apartheid metaphors. Your movie has a guy in a spangly suit and probably a Ryan Seacrest cameo or something. His rider of fresh baby foetuses and hookers to punch can't be that expensive, surely?
